- 1 ginger paste (rounded tablespoon)
- 1 garlic paste (rounded tablespoon)
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp. hot curry powder (optional)
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. paprika (hot, optional)
- 1 tsp. sweet paprika (smoked would be great)
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

- 15 oz. tomato puree
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic

- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter (cold)
- 1 cup heavy cream
