    Absolutely fantastic! Chicken marinade. I'm more of a traditionalist and did not use the tzatziki sauce but instead opted to make my own toum (garlic sauce). We have very lousy shawarma restaurants around us. This recipe is comparable to the excellent shawarma we get on vacation in big cities.

    Really good marinade, even without the lemon juice. Used a store-bought hummus instead of making it.

    Really great marinade recipe that I'll use again when I make shawarma. We've used a lot of different marinades when making kebabs, and this one was very good. Nice combination of flavors overall. For topping, we cut up fresh cherry tomatoes, cilantro, marinated olives/pepperchinos and arugula all mixed up and poured on top. Very flavorful, fresh, and satisfying!
