- 1 whole chicken (Medium sized, with or without skin – I removed my skin)

- 1 garlic paste
- 1/2 cumin powder
- 1/2 cumin seeds
- 1/2 coriander powder
- 3/4 chilli powder (ts red)
- 3/4 tandoori masala
- 1 red chillies (ts crushed)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 salt
- 3/4 garam masala
- 1 dash soya sauce (optional)
- 1 egg (this really binds the marinade well)
- 1 Tbsp. yogurt
- 1/4 red food color
- 1/4 yellow food color
- 2 Tbsp. oil
