- 1 lb. mung bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup basil leaves (torn, Thai basil if you can find it)
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
- 2 limes (cut into wedges)
- 2 jalapeños (thinly sliced)
- chili garlic sauce (Asian)
- hoisin sauce
- shallots (Crispy, recipe follows)
- 2 cups sliced shallots (thinly, about 4 large shallots)
- 2 cups canola oil
