  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 12 ounces pasta (I used shells)
  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (cooked and cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil (chopped)

    Big hit with everyone. The chicken adds absolutely nothing so just leave it out unless you need the protein.

    Tastes great, I used a little orange juice combined with the chicken broth, and it came out delicious!

    It wasn’t bad, it definitely needs more seasoning than what is called for, I will definitely double the seasoning next time. It was just ok, there are many more reviews like this on Yummly that are much better than this

    One of my new favorite dishes! Comes out perfectly every time! I let the pasta simmer for 7-10 minutes longer than the recipe and add 1/4 less water (and more cheese!). I brag about it to everyone.

    Used hamburger instead of chicken. Added more Italian seasoning, x2 shallots, and fennel. Family really liked it!

    This was a easy recipe to make. I didn’t need to add the extra chicken broth, it turned out perfect! Definitely will make it again

    my family loved this. It turned out a bit dry though. i would definietly make this again but add a little tomato sauce and some Italian seasoning.

    It was ok. Will use Ragu for the sauce next time. Seasoning the chicken before adding to the sauce is a must

    My husband LOVED this. I was surprised how well it turned out as well. I wish I could have made it with breaded chicken instead of skinless/baked. I did add more salt and seasonings to the sauce. ❤️ I will probably be making this again!

    I've made this twice. The 1st time I followed the directions as written. It was pretty good, made enough to feed at least a dozen people. I didn't have a dozen people to feed so when I reheated the next day (in microwave), the pasta had absorbed all of the sauce. It was very dry & tasteless. I tossed the leftovers into the trash. The 2nd time, I only used a half of a box of pasta but otherwise followed the recipe and it WAS DELICIOUS.!! MY FAMILY RAVED OVER IT.!!

    I made this with fresh mozzarella and whole wheat pasta! I also used tomato puree because I'm not a huge tomato person. So good!
