These, made with the soft wrap bread recipe included, are absolutely delicious. My kids are CRAZY about them and we know what that means coming from kids. I make them according to the recipe except cut the chicken in tenderloin-size pieces and cook them on the grill. SO yummy, and a perfect summertime dinner with fresh corn! I have made these many times, and will continue to do so!

Wonderful! I’ll make this again for sure! I marinated the chicken for about 5-6 hours and I would have preferred longer. I also will try grilling next time the slicing. Wonderful flavor. I also followed the “soft bread” recipe in the blog. It’s so amazing and so delicious and so EASY!! I’m going to keep this recipe on hand forever.

This was really good! I had never had a gyro before, but my family had and said these were better than restaurant ones they've had. It was pretty easy to make as well. The only thing I did differently was change the meat. My dad has problems with his teeth and cannot chew well. I used the pre-packaged fully cooked fajita beef slices that come in a bag. I cut them even thinner and warmed them with the sauce that would have been on the chicken anyway. It turned out really well and we will definitely make this again. I'm sure chicken would have been great as well. Pairs excellent with an Italian pasta salad and cucumber salad w/onions.

My 13 year old loves this and she's such a picky eater! I substituted the red wine for balsamic vinegar and it still turned out amazing!

I added ground marjoram and ground rosemary and it made the whole meal POP! Also added dill to the tzatziki sauce, so yummy!!

Great recipe!! My daughter raved about my gyros for weeks. I think it’s her way of asking me to make this again!

Great! I used Greek yogurt instead of straining it the only thing I'd change is I used pita from King soopers and the pita was way too thick, I'd definitely go with a much thinner wrap
