- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk (divided)
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tsp. kosher salt
- 3 tsp. paprika
- 3 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 cup canola oil (or vegetable oil)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk (preferably whole milk, but any will do)
- pepper (to taste., 1 tsp to 1 tbsp depending on what you like)

It turned out great! My family loved it! I don’t have a pic, but it’s an easy recipe. Best chicken fried steak that I’ve ever made, and I’ll make it like this from now on! They even ate all of the gravy. We had mashed potatoes and corn with it. Thanks Yummly!
