Basic recipe was bland but glad I read the other reviews to add garlic chili paste and hoisin.

It was very bland I added some hoisin sauce and that elevated it! I also added some chili garlic sauce because I like it a little spicy. Next time I’ll probably toss in some mushrooms, broccoli, and matchstick carrots. If you follow the recipe it’s a nice starting point, but it definitely could use some flavor. Next time I will add a little sauce to my chicken while I’m cooking it too.

It was a very good weeknight dinner. I might spice it up a bit more the next time we make this. Everybody asked for it to be added to the regular menu, so that’s an easy win!

Pretty good recipe. Maybe a little more salt and other seasonings to make it more exciting. For easy chicken, very good.
