- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (1/4 teaspoon to)
- 3/4 cup red wine (or dry white)
- 15 oz. diced tomatoes (1 can ,fired roasted, petite + juice)
- 15 oz. tomato puree (1 can)
- fresh basil (optional)
- parsley (chopped ,for garnish, optional)
- freshly grated Parmesan (for sprinkling over top)
