Recipe is too simple and bland. Had to add a little soy sauce, sesame oil and Oyster sauce. Still good though.

Very simple and turns out really delicious.
I made rice with beans, sautéed onions and peppers and melted cheddar cheese over top.
Diced the Chicago chicken on top.
So dank!
Edit: you can taste the lemon over everything else. But I also used and entire lemon.

House favorite. Make sure to bake thru then turn on the broil and watch closely. That way the marinade will crisp/crust the chicken.

It turned out great! I added some cilantro and a dash of hot sauce and it was super juicy and flavorful

This turned out great! I loved the ingredient list for the freshness and simplicity. It smelled amazing! I grew my own jalopenos this summer so this was perfect. I used it for my lunch all.week and will make again.

So tasty I didn’t even marinade it. I just put it in a skillet cook the chicken and then put the sauce in to simmer a bit and the flavors were wonderful.

This dish is a regular at our house! It’s fast and easy for weeknights, but still tastes special

Very easy to make. I added salt and pepper to the list of ingredients. To me all chicken needs salt. Turned out great. Just enough heat to tickle the nose and let you know it was there. I will be making this again.

Really liked this, kids asked for me to make again. Definitely makes it a winner.

So good. Used Anaheim peppers instead of jalapeño and Italian seasoning instead of oregano due to what was in the kitchen. Will make again!

Bland! No salt! Not good! I would not make this again unless it was modified. I expected something completely different!

I made this as written. I thought the lemon was overpowering, without salt it was all we could taste. I will make this again with modifications. I will definitely add salt, less, or no lemon juice. I think white wine might be better. I used the full tbsp of oregano and will keep that.

I read all the reviews for this and they were either great or terrible, no in-between. I also noticed that several altered the recipe somehow. I found it necessary to do the same. I was hoping that the reason it was bland was because it was missing a salt element, so I made the marinade just as it said, but added some soy sauce, and I allowed the chicken to marinate for about six hours. I left about half of the jalapeño membrane & seeds in (I'm a bit of a wimp!), and I could only pick up a rare hint of jalapeño flavor. I'm not sure what else, if anything, can be done to improve it.

Had a great flavor and cooked to perfection. We put it over a bed of cauliflower rice and was generous with the extra sauce.

It was great, day of cooking didn't really feel the heat of the jalepeno, but the leftovers on day 2 you could, I would actually add in another one, but I like the heat!
