The first time I made these, they finished in one day. That’s why I gave it five stars. I didn’t have ginger powder, so I didn’t add it in. The second time I made it, I decided to add ground ginger. They didn’t come out as good. They were dry and cakey (in a bad way). But if you follow the recipe correctly, they will definitely come out really good.

Nice cookies, I added some ground ginger and Chinese five spice, as I don’t like cloves. I will
efinitely make these again.

these came super chewy in the best way, with a nice kick from the molasses.
