- 1 tomato (cut to about 8 pieces)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp. spring onion (chopped, for garnish, optional)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. 5-spice powder
- 1 dash white pepper
- 1 tsp. corn flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 5 Tbsp. tomato sauce (/ketchup)
- 3 Tbsp. sweet chilli sauce (thai)
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cooking wine (/shaoxing wine)
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. rice wine vinegar
- corn starch (slurry)
