- 1 lb. ground beef (fatty, or lamb, I usually ask my butcher to give me a blend of 75% beef, 25% lamb)
- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 black pepper (grinds of fresh)
- 1 tsp. dried mint
- chopped fresh herbs (optional)
- parsley (optional)
- chili flakes (optional)
- ground sumac (optional)
- lemon wedges (to garnish, optional)
- 1 cup yogurt (Greek-style)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- ground pepper (fresh)
- 1/4 cup herbs (fresh chopped, – one or any combination of the following: dill, mint, coriander, cilantro parsley or oregano)
- 1 Tbsp. virgin olive oil (good extra-)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 English cucumber (chopped into fine dice.)

Delicious will definitely make them again like the idea of making a batch and freezing them then cooking from frozen
