- 1 cup milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 5 potatoes (peeled and diced, I use red or Yukon gold - russet potatoes will not hold up in the soup)
- 1/2 cup meat (diced ham, from the ham bone)
- 1 cup broccoli (fresh, diced)
- 1 stalk celery (diced)
- 1 onion (small, diced)
- 1 carrot (chopped)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
