I’ve made this with both country and sourdough bread, I personally prefer the country bread. The bread I had was thicker and round so I had trouble getting every piece coated evenly with garlic butter and cheese I’d suggest making extra garlic butter and if you have extra at the end then pot it on top. And learn from my mistake, don’t broil to try and melt the cheese faster

Made this for a party on the weekend, everyone loved it. I added extra garlic cause I love garlic making it again tonight to go with spaghetti.

I love this. Have made it several times - different varieties. Works great with ciabatta bread as well and stuffed with prosciutto

Our family loved it! I used shredded Italian style cheese, and I drizzled Tuscan flavored olive oil on top. I also added green onions in with the parsley Next time I will make more of the butter mixture. It was so good!

Delicious. They were out of rounds at the store but was able to modify with a sliced round.
