    had lots of home grown broccoli and wasnt sure what to do with some of ot,i came across this recipe,we all loved it including fussy grandchildren,i will definately be making it again.

    My family loved this! I used fat free half and half instead of milk. I also would recommend low sodium chicken broth, and reduce the amount of sodium called for. That’s just me. Others might like the salt. This soup also does well when allowed to sit in frig overnight. The flavors were greatly enhanced the next day. Love the addition of carrots (more vitamin A)! Yeah!

    Amazing and came together in minutes! I added some leftover garlicky scalloped potatoes instead of the garlic which added to the creaminess. Definitely a keeper!

    This recipe was sooooo good, and so easy to make on a cold week night. I didn't bother using an immersion blender to break up the broccoli though. I prefer my broccoli cheddar soup with the bite-sized broccoli pieces.
