- 2 cups flour (self raising/rising, If you don't have S/R Flour, you can substitute with plain flour and baking powder. Add 2 tsps of baking powder to each cup of plain flour. Metric cup size in Australia is 250ml)

- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can corn kernels (125g)
- 1/2 red capsicum
- 1 handful baby spinach
- salt
- pepper
- fresh basil leaves (to add to the mix and on top, optional)
