Update: electric pressure cooker works great and no need to pre soak beans. I cook them about 1.5 hrs great flavor

Very good Frijoles Charros. I modified it a little I used canned pintos and white beans and did it on the stove top. I also added 1/2 pound of the AL. popular Conecuh sausage. I will be making again.

Absolutely delicious!! I made some minor adjustments and cooked in the crock pot on high for 8 hours and it turned out amazing, even better than any restaurants Ive ever tried.

So good! Spices were spot on; soaked the beans then cooked in a crock pot. Took 7-8 hours on low. Restaurant quality! A keeper!
Update: I've cooked these beans a few more times on the stove top and they turn out just as wonderfully. Quick soak the beans, add all the other ingredients, bring to a boil then simmer 2-3 hours. Delicious😍
