This is yummy and easy. I recommend a couple modifications: add the jalapeno and ginger with the garlic, not at the end. If you have time, keep adding water and letting it simmer on low for a long time to develop the flavor and thicken the sauce. Add chopped cilantro at the end.

so tasty! it was a little watery, so im not sure if i maybe strayed away from the recipe, but i added some potatoes to soak up some of the extra moisture!

I love chana masala and always order it so I thought i would try at home. this was good but in my opinion this has too much ginger and garam masala then was needed. i ended up adding extra paprika (it is the secret ingredient in everything) both Smoked Spanish style and California style sweet plus adding in extra lemon to help tone them down. Would make this again.

Very yummy and very spicy but it got three stars because it was missing the flavor i was looking for i followed the recipe exactly since i have never made this before. Overall a good recipe but i thought it came out to spicy and i love spicy

Fantastic curry! IMHO the lemon is highly unnecessary. Other than that make it and enjoy. Add some greens too, spinach is an easy add. Served with coconut rice and naan. Yum!

This was great! My only complaint would be the measurements were a bit vague. I think my lemons and jalapeños were larger than needed. I should have used half the amount called.

Really delicious and easy to make for a weeknight! Added a dollop of yogurt to mellow out the flavors and tone down the spice. Yummy!
