- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups non dairy milk (unsweetened plain, or water)
- freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 pinch freshly ground nutmeg (optional)
- 16 oz. macaroni (I used whole grain pasta, but gluten-free works great too)
- 1 cup bread crumbs (or crushed crackers of choice for topping, I used Nooch-Its)
