i didn't have ginger however i used a spicy Caribbean bbq sauce with clove honey and fresh garlic, substituted lemon for line juice i had on hand, everyone loved it and it was very flavorful and juicy. I served with side of hickory baked beans.

Added sliced pineapple when putting chicken into oven turned pineapple over half way through baking

Keep the temp lower when cooking on stove top. The sugar from the honey burns easily.it tasted awful

Super easy, quick and awesome! My ceramic cast iron was super hot when I put the chicken on (skin down like the directions) and it finished crisping perfectly in the oven. I'd say check it 20m in if you don't want too much burnt honey but at 25m the chicken was delicious and juicy. Be generous with the garlic and honey. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Turned out super juicy, but I couldn't quite get the skin right! I recently got my first iron skillet, so I'm still figuring out the right heat for certain things. I'd make this again because it's healthy and easy!
