- 1 lb. beef cubes
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 qt. beef stock
- 2 whole bay leaves
- 1 1/4 cups bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- fresh thyme leaves (as needed for garnish, optional)
