Excellent recipe! I used about twice the ginger, which gave it more heat, then served it cold... A cold hot soup! instead of the bone broth, I used the broth made from reboiling the bones and back portions of a 6 pound chicken I had slow cooked a couple nights ago (with celery leaves and tops & some onions, whole peppercorns, and a little sea salt). Served it with a delightful salad made by my wife, from baby kale, pickled beets, mushrooms, sweet peppers, and little chunks of French Brie cheese (rind on), under a Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette, and some cinnamon glazed rolls from Panera Bread.
