- 1/3 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups shredded carrots (this was at least 6 medium size carrots)
- 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
