    The cake turned out AMAZING! The only thing I changed was the amount of sugar because that is just too much. I doubled the batch and instead of 800g of sugar I put 200g and it was even better than it would’ve been with 800g of sugar. Nonetheless amazing!

    I would have liked this more if the cake was fluffy and not soo dense, but dispite that it was a hit with my family!

    I hope the 2 tsps. baking powder was a typo. If it wasn't, this was the worst recipe I have ever tried and I bake a lot. I was making cupcakes and I had to throw them out. Luckily I still had ingredients to start over or I would have been really upset in disappointing a friend I was making these for.

    Turned out great. Instead of just using cinnamon I did 1.5tsp cinnamon with 1/4tsp nutmeg and 1/4tsp of ground clove. The cake was the perfect texture and wasnt too sweet.

    Moist and fabulous. Only thing for me: A little too sweet.Next time I will cut back on sugar in cake or frosting.

    I don't know why I didn't rate this yet! This was the first cake & best carrot cake I've ever made. Directions were easy to follow + tips helped a bunch! Like the other review stated - very moist & the cream cheese frosting is wonderful! Will be making it again this weekend :D Love!
