- 2 onions (large, sliced into thin strips)
- 4 stalks celery (sliced)
- 4 cloves garlic (fresh, minced, I use mini food chopper, OR, 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 1/2 cups catsup
- 1 cup bbq sauce (I used off brand from Dollar Store)
- 1/4 cup molasses (Grandma's)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (or your choice of other kind)
- 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard (prepared, your choice of type)
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Delicious! I omitted the molasses and it was perfect…tangy but not too sweet.

i started this at 3pm on my day off. Kitchen smelled awesome. i am a litttle concerned my old crockpot gets a little too hot low. looking for some input on this. That said meat was tender, loved the sauce, loved not having to add all the othrr ingredients to make a good sauce. put it together in pot and enjoy your day. i used Heinz spicy brown mustard. little kick...J

Delicious!!! Easy prep and great taste! Served on a bed of mashed potatoes with a side of broccoli. I got the thumbs up from everyone that ate it!

Well I haven't made it yet cause I just found this site today. But based on the list of ingredients and what I may add as my special touch🙂 it looks like it will be the kind of pulled pork barbecue that I've been looking for🙂I stop back out here after I get a chance to make it. It was a mediocre BBQ. I liked it fine but it just didn't impress. Would probably not make it again.
