- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 onion (chopped)
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/3 cup white wine
- bread (your choice, I used whole grain talonica bread)
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup butter (softened + herbs of your choice, I used parsley, basil and thyme – a good sprinkling of each)

This recipe was great. I did use shallots instead of onions otherwise followed the recipe. I will make this again for sure!

I adapted the recipe.
1 Used boneless skinless chicken thighs, so did need more time.
2 Added some garlic powder with the mushrooms.
3 Used sliced baby bellas for the mushrooms
We really liked the flavors. With the baby bellas, it’s very filling

Very good. My children loved it as well. I used a little chicken broth instead of wine. The water from the mushrooms is enough to deglaze the pan but you'll want a little more liquid for some sauce.

I made the recipe and used chicken stock instead of wine. 1/2 cup. I also used vidalia onions which made the sauce sweeter. It was fantastic.
