- 1 onion (coarsely chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 apple (cut into slices)
- 1 Orange (cut into slices)
- 1 lemon (cut into slices)
- 1 onion (cut into slices)
- 6 sprigs fresh sage
- 4 figs (halved or quartered)
- 3 baking apples (large firm, cored but not peeled and cut into slices)
- 3 oranges (large, peeled and sectioned)
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter (cut into pieces)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 325˚F. Cooking time will vary by size of bird, so check roasting times here. Remove the turkey from the bag. Remove giblet package underneath the neck skin area as well as the neck from the body cavity.
- Place turkey, breast side up, in a shallow roasting pan. Pat the outside and inside of the turkey dry with paper towels.
- Combine salt and black pepper in a small bowl. Season the inside of the turkey with about 1/3 of the salt mixture. Fold wing tips under the bird.
