- 2 Tbsp. spelt flour (or oat flour, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, gluten-free baking blend)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut flour (or 1/4 cup any of the above flours)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. canela
- 1/4 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup egg whites (2 large)
- 3 Tbsp. unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 tsp. caramel extract
- 1 Tbsp. almond butter (I used Legendary Foods Pecan Pie Almond Butter)
- 2 tsp. chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
