Turned out great. I made a 6inch and an 8inch celebration cake out of it. I did cut the crust off, my son ate those and said ‘this is the worst part of the cake, and it’s the best you e ever made!’. I love that there’s only measuring jugs and a saucepan to make it with (and the tin of course)
