Description
It has so never been so easy to make your own lemon preserves. This recipe only requires three ingredients, fresh lemons, sugar, and water. All you need to do is slice the lemons, alternate them with a layer of sugar, cover with water, boil and then simmer for 45 minutes. In less than an hour, you will have your own homemade lemon confit that can be served alongside meat or vegetables or on top of your favorite ice cream.

- 200 grams sugar

Directions
- In a heavy based saucepan, layer the lemon slices alternately with the sugar.
- Add water, just enough to cover the lemons.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
