I cut my chicken breast in half, but it’s delicious! I’m not doing keto, so I ate mine with quinoa.

Honey should never go in a marinade where the meat will be put on a grill or a stovetop. It causes the meat to char to the point of being unpalatable. The creator of this recipe should know better. You also can’t cook chicken to 165 with only 3-4 minutes on each side. If you could, maybe the honey in the marinade wouldn’t be such a bad gaffe. It takes at least 20 minutes to cook a chicken breast properly. Of course I completely forgot the no-honey cardinal rule of marinades and quickly threw this together without thinking about it, which was my fault. The chicken charred pretty badly but was still edible. Hopefully i can salvage my pan. The mozzarella cheese and Italian-style salsa saved it from being too burnt tasting. I’ll give it 3 stars because it was edible and the Italian-style salsa was delicious.

This was so easy to make !! The cooking time was a tad longer because my chicken breasts were so big even after I halved them but overall I would make this recipe again without question. I ended up putting a tad bit of marinade in when I put the chicken on the stove to keep the chicken moist and it worked perfectly, even with the additional marinade I tossed in after !!

I also burned the chicken a bit. I used cherry tomatoes, and at the end I put the avocado, tomato and basil blend in the skillet in the glaze, and placed my fresh mozzarella on my chicken. Turned off my heat and covered for about 10 minutes. Was very good! Will probably use thinner chicken or cut up next time.

It was very delicious.I’m going to make it again this Sunday.FYI buy a bottle of balsamic glaze instead of using the glaze from the pan after you cook the chicken. The glaze from cooking may not come as thick as it should be. I bought a bottle of balsamic glaze.I glazed the chicken after it was done.It was a lot easier and tasted great 😊

This was effing fantastic - quartered cherry tomatoes instead of Roma - used some thick mozzarella medallions that I melted on top by throwing the skillet in the oven for a few minutes

Officially in my top 3 favorite recipes. My man goes nuts for this dish. Pairs nicely with a quinoa side

Having thinner chicken breasts was key. Glad I read the reviews. Everything tasted amazing. The only two criticisms are it didn’t go far. Four breasts was good for just my husband and I - wouldn’t feed a family, and that maybe it should be served with something. I would definitely have this again.

I have made this twice. Followed the directions to a tee the first time. Adding the tomatoes and avacado after turning off the heat made the whole dish cold and “meh” in my opinion. Made it a second time because I felt like with these ingredients it should be better. Cooked it per the directions until after flipping the chicken. At that point, I added the diced tomatoes and 1/4 cup of balsamic marinade that was saved. After 5 minutes pulled out the chicken and let the tomatoes and balsamic reduce and cook for 10ish minutes. Added the chicken back in and topped with cheese. Then broiled the top to melt the cheese and give it some color. Then topped with avocado and basil right before serving. MUCH better!

My husband and I loved this recipe. I read the reviews prior to cooking so, I decided to use chicken tenderloins in lieu of whole breasts and cooking time was on point. I think I used too much avacado but, I love avacado. Recipe is a keeper at our home!

Amazing!! cook time for the breasts took way too long though, in the end I cut them up into smaller pieces to shorten cook time. Served on a bed of arugula👌🏻

It turned out great. My husband actually said it was good. Usually he says everything is okay all the time. He said I can make it again. Thats big in this house. He is a very picky eater. If i could id give it a 10

I’m not sure what happened here. This was a complete disaster. The chicken breasts were very large and thick, even after being tenderized. However, the maranade burned almost instantly when it hit the skillet. It turned black and smelled awful after a few seconds. The recipe says cook for a few minutes per side, but mine took 1/2 hour of cooking, where it smoked and burned. Melting the cheese on the chicken was impossible as it kept falling off. I also spilled the cheese and maranade all over the stove top and floor. What I was left with at the end was inedible chicken and $30.00 worth of supplies in the trash. This was a total nightmare from start to finish. I will never attempt this again.
