- 15.5 oz. diced fire-roasted tomatoes (with juice)
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder (ground Pasilla)
- 8 oz. turnip (peeled, diced)
- 8 oz. potatoes (small white, diced)
- 8 oz. carrot (peeled and oblique cut, or diced)
- 2 bouillon cubes (Knorr “Caldo de Cameron”, or shrimp bouillon)
- 4 tsp. base (fish)
- 7 cups water (or may use shrimp and fish stocks and omit bouillon and fish base)
- 10 oz. tilapia (boneless, or similar fish)
- 10 oz. shrimp (deveined ez-peel, with shells on)
- 10 oz. seafood (assorted, calamari rings, mussels, clams, shrimp, scrub shells of clams and mussels if not done already, discard any shells that do not open during cooking)

it turned out good .. very tasty .. no complaints from guests .. some even asked for recipe .. lol !!! thanks for everything

Very good. I didn't have diced tomatoes so I used tomato paste and water. Also, I couldn't find ground pasilla pepper so I made my own and only 1 tablespoon. And I used seafood stock instead of fish base because I also couldn't find that. It came out really good and not too spicy. We added lime and cilantro to finish.

so delicious! we added 2 bay leaves, a pinch of oregano, 3 diced jalapenos and a splash of tequila. it was the bomb!
