- 1/2 cup mushrooms (roughly chopped)
- 1/4 cup green onions (roughly chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (peeled and roughly chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. ground flaxseeds
- 1 tsp. soy sauce (substitute with gluten-free tamari/liquid aminos if needed)
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil (choice, I used grapeseed oil or enough to grease pan)
- 1/2 avocado (ripe)
- 1/2 lemon (zest and juice)
- hot sauce (Louisiana-style, to taste)
- 2 hoagie sandwich rolls (whole grain preferred, choose gluten-free bread if needed)
