Very easy to get together honestly. The One Pot does not use butter so you won’t need that. Otherwise it is good, and they want it again.

This was really good. I made the instant pot version, the link is on this recipe page. i did make a few changes based on what i had on hand. i used boneless skinless chicken thighs, 5 of them, same cook time, andouille sausage and 1 cup milk and 1 cup of cream. The amount of liquid is different in the instant pot version. i also found a recipe for cajun seasoning that i made and used and used dried parmesan. not kraft, but still dry. it was fabulous. creamy and full of flavor. the cajun seasoning was just the right amount of spice that combined with the parmesan perfectly. i think the Chicken thighs mightve made it over the top though because they were so tender and moist. my kids loved it as well, even with the andouille sausage. will definitely make again but use regular smoked sausage some of the time and a higher quality psrmesan.

I didn’t realize this recipe was a slow cooker style. However there is a one pot recipe. Be sure to let your heavy cream cool as, that’s when it thickens. (At first it looks like soup) but tastes yummy and not a lot of ingredients. Definitely a beginner recipe
