- water (for soaking)
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 5 cloves garlic (fresh, grated)

- 1 Tbsp. shrimp (salted, see 2nd photo from the top)
- 3 Tbsp. red pepper flakes (Korean, known as gochugaru)
- 250 grams daikon (cut into 1 inch match sticks)
- 5 spring onions (cut into 1 inch matchsticks)
