Easy Dinner Recipe that you can make after work – Asparagus Mushroom Soup OR overnigh

- 1/2 lb. asparagus (slice into 1 inch pieces)
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushroom (slice into pieces)
- 4 cups chicken stock (or 1 tbsp chicken stock base with 4 cups water)
- 1 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 cup onion (chopped finely)
- 6 Tbsp. light butter (or 2 tbsp cooking oil)

Directions
- Bring chicken stock to a simmer in medium saucepan.Add asparagus, cover and cook over medium heat,around 10 minutes.Or until asparagus is tender.
- n another saucepan, saute' onion with butter in low heat fro around 5 minutes. Blend in flour mixture and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.Do not brown. Add mushroom to onion mixture. Cover and cook until mushroom are tender. Gradually add asparagus mixture to the onion mixture stirring constantly for 3 to 5 minutes. Add milk and garlic salt. Heat but do not boil.Garnish with parsley,basil or mint. Serve hot
- FOR CROCK POT: Place Asparagus,chicken stock,milk,onion and cooking oil/butter in the crock pot. Cook in high for 4 and low for 7 hours. In the morning, Mix the flour into the cooked ingredients and add galic salt to taste. Let it sit in the crock pot for few more minutes and Pack it for lunch.
