I really expected better, these weren’t chewy like I thought they’d be based on the photo. If I made these again I’d leave out the baking soda.

These were great! My husband LOVES choc chip cookies, I on the other hand do not BUT I ended up deciding to try one after about 3 days and WOW these were delicious! This was the first choc chip cookie I actually wanted to go back for another! This recipe is a keeper for sure! I only had reg choc chips so I used 2 cups. I’m planning on making these again and want to try the mini choc chips! Definitely a great recipe thank you!
***Update*** I just made these with the mini chips and omg how CUTE are the mini chips?!? LOVE
***Also, a TIP*** I did NOT make my dough balls and THEN chill them...I put the whole bowl in the fridge for at least 2 hours and then pulled the dough out and made my balls...I had to like chip away at the dough a little but it made it SO MUCH EASIER to make the dough balls and it was sticking all over your hands! The cookies came out perfect!

Turned out great! Soft and chewy. Only added one cup of chocolate chips and one cup of walnuts.
