- 25 mL milk
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil (plus extra for deep-frying)
- 100 grams pumpkin (prepared weight, peeled, deseeded and coarsely grated)
- 50 grams onion (peeled, finely sliced)
- 1 tsp. spice mix (Madras, see above)
- 50 grams self raising flour
