This was a hit, the family loved it and even I (who almost never like my cooking) thought it slapped, I made some changes though, I added a half teaspoon of nutmeg, some a half teaspoon of vanilla, and I used brioche bread instead, we went through an entire loaf of bread.

It was good but I didn’t use Challah bread and the mixture was a little heavy for regular thick white bread. I also didn’t soak because the bread was too tender and would have fallen apart. But the flavor was good. Much “eggier” than the recipe I usually use.
