- 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp. kosher salt

Directions
- To prepare donuts, spray medium bowl with nonstick pan spray, line with plastic wrap and spray plastic wrap.
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl; set aside.
- Add sugar, egg yolks and butter to Bowl of KitchenAid® Artisan Stand Mixer. Attach Bowl andFlat Beater to Mixer. Turn to Speed 2 and mix 30 seconds. Turn to Speed 10 and beat 1 to 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. Stop mixer and add sour cream and buttermilk. Turn to Speed 5 and mix 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth. Continuing on Speed 5, add dry ingredients, ½ cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
