What a great recipe! just made it for a lunch with friends. I followed the recipe faithfully, except:
1) I didn't have fresh thyme, so used (less) dried thyme
2) I used Annie's organic flaky dinner rolls as toppers instead of making dough from Bisquick. I sprinkled a teaspoon of the swiss cheese and a dash of thyme over the topper after the ramekins came out of the oven.
3) I used my home made no sodium added chicken broth in place of beef broth.
Company raved about both presentation and flavor! the portions were perfect for lunch, along with my wife's always outstanding baby kale salad. We will definitely make it again!
