It was delicious and it’s so simple to make! It was a really big hit at Thanksgiving dinner. Definitely a keeper!

Turned out much better than expected! It was very quick and easy to make and, as others mentioned, doesn't even need the topping. Only changes I made were using about 2 oz of pecans and butterscotch topping (to my discretion). I found myself craving this pie...and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of pecans.
EDIT: I also substituted the icing brand with Betty Crocker (I believe; got what was on sale). I'd also consider this dessert low-cost, pecans omitted (as they are the most expensive ingredient).

Wonderful! The Carmel topping isn’t even necessary, just an added touch. If you like butter pecan ice cream you will love this pie!

I thought this pie was going to be overly sweet but not true. I chopped my pecans rather fine per my liking I preferred more caramel than 1/4 cup too. Easy pie to make. Hubby really liked it. Definitely worth making again.
