Perfect recipe. I make these all the Time for friends and family. They’re also very good with toffee pieces in them. Also concerning the other reviews about the amount of flour, the amount listed on Yummly is incorrect and and the amount of flour needed is 2 and 1/2 cups

My family and I tried this recipe and it works fine and tastes great, but it is way too much effort for simple cookies. I would definitely go for something less time-consuming if you just want a sweet treat.

Terrible I followed the detailed recipe exactly with 1/4 cup flour & ended up with SOUP! I have now added 2 more cups of flour & it’s still not enough What’s with this recipe?? Someone needs to correct it

This is absolutely delicious and some of the best cookies EVER! I used bread flour for some extra chew. When you go to scoop them out, don’t smash it into a ball, form it very loosely. Make sure to follow the butter browning, that’s what gives it its delicious flavor! It smells like a carnival in my house! Also, do not overcook them they may not look “done,” but that’s because of the butter seeping on the top.
Don’t let Steve’s review affect you; he read the recipe on the app, not the website and used the wrong amount of flour. I have already made this recipe three times and am going to make it later today! It is phenomenal!

Worst batch of sugary junk I ever made knew it from the beginning 1/4 cup of flour was not enough what a waste of ingredients should be banned from this medium

Turned out better than I expected. I ended up chilling the dough for 4 hours and it took a good hour before I could work with the dough. It made 20 large cookies for me. They are delicious.

These cookies are excellent!!! The browned butter provides a rich and savory flavor that pairs well with the sweetness of the brown sugar. The vanilla and cinnamon give the cookie a nice depth. The crunchy exterior and chewy interior is what makes this cookie a perfectly delectable treat. Highly recommended!
