- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp. minced ginger
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 cardamom pod (seeded)
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. tumeric
- 1 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 240 mL passata (/ tomato sauce)
- 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 80 mL cream (I used single cream, aka “half and half” in North America, but you could use double / heavy cream)
- 30 grams butter (+ more for frying)
