- 300 grams strong white flour (bread flour)
- 250 grams white flour (plain)
- 10 grams fine salt
- 7 grams yeast (easy bake, instant yeast or 10g fresh yeast, the fresh yeast can be dissolved in a little of the warm water that you will be using for the recipe)
- 50 grams caster sugar
- 150 mL milk (warm)
- 150 mL warm water (I add boiling water to cold milk and that way both get warm, just make sure that the liquid is only hand hot or you will kill the yeast)
- 50 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 100 grams softened butter
- 150 grams caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla paste (or extract)
- 50 mL milk
- 50 grams caster sugar
