I didn’t have a shallot so I used a sweet onion and didn’t have fresh sage so I used dried. I served with fresh steamed asparagus. Relatively easy recipe that works for a weeknight family meal but fancy enough for guests. Would have been better with fresh sage and a shallot but perfectly acceptable and satisfying the way mine came together. Definitely coming back to this one .
