Made 2 versions one vegetarian with lots of cheese and the other vegan with lots of veggies... tip if you buy the original flavor of the pop biscuits they are vegan.

Is anyone preheating there skillet or throwing it in cold with all the ingredients? I think what a lot of people don't say about iron skillet recipes is that the skillet needs to be pre-heated as well otherwise it will absorb all the heat and the skillet heats up unevenly. I will try this recipe later with a heated skillet and get back and let you all know how it goes.

The flavors were good, but THAT was as good as it got! The texture was disgusting. The biscuits at the center and on the bottom of the pan never fully cooked and came out slimy and gross. Threw the whole thing in the trash. A recipe to never darken my IPad again.

The ONLY reason why I did not give it 5⭐️is because the biscuits make this saltier than I like. Very salty. BUT THE PULL APART AWESOMENESS is so novel and it totally "works"! Next time will concoct a white version with olive oil, garlic, broccoli and ricotta! / UPDATE: next day AWESOME, not as salty, better left-over
