- 1 1/4 lb. 95% lean ground beef
- 8 oz. white mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 cup pasta sauce
- 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach (package, thawed and squeezed of all liquid)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh basil (sliced)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 7.5 oz. refrigerated biscuit dough (biscuits cut into quarters, I used Wegmans brand, Pillsbury also makes them – if you can only find Grands, weigh out 7.5 ounces and cut them into small bite-sized pieces)
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded 2%)
- 1/2 cup fat free ricotta cheese
