    perfect. i added diced honeycrisp apples on one occasion and it jazzed up the flavor. the next time i added beef bacon bits (omit salt) to make it more hearty.

    Easy and adaptable! I love Brussels sprouts and followed this recipe. Only had balsamic on hand which was fine, and used a pecan and raisin mix instead of cranberries because they were out of normal pecans at the grocery store. It keeps well dressed for several days so great for lunches. You can sprinkle in chickpeas or another bean for bulk and it's good, too.

    Made this last summer. Subsituted chopped prunes for the cranberries. Loved this as a change up from coleslaw.
